HERCULES RELEASES ECAFE EC 1000E NETBOOK

Hercules, a company known for manufacturing video peripherals, has released a netbook – the eCafe EC – 1000E.

The eCafe comes with a 250GB hard disk which isn’t very common in netbooks. Another not-so-common feature is the selection of Windows 7 Starter Edition OS. The netbook will be powered by an Intel Atom N270 1.60GHz processor with 1GB of RAM. It has a 10.1 inch LCD display featuring 1024x600 pixels. Other features include Wi-Fi b/g/n, 10/100 Ethernet, card reader and 3 USB ports.

The eCafe sports an attractive design. The keyboard is chiclet styled. The battery option is a 4400mAh 6-cell battery. Buyers will also get 50 GB free online space for backing up data. Prices start at $399.
