A-DATA has launched its 512GB XPG 2.5-inch SSD at the CeBIT 2009 in Hannover. A-DATA claims its new 512GB XPG 2.5-inch to be the highest capacity SSD in the 2.5-inch category up to date. The new A-DATA SSD offers read speed of up to 230MB/s and write speed of up to 160/s with its SATA II interface and comes in a lightweight aluminum casing for durability. The XPG 2.5-inch solid state drive is exclusively designed for notebooks and PCs.The 512GB XPG 2.5-inch SSD also has an operating temperates of -10oC to 70oC, shock resistance of 1500G/0.5ms and 1,500,000 hours of MTBF. It measures 100 x 70.1 x 9.2 mm and weighs about 85gms. There is no word on its pricing yet.
